Thank You Jesus
When we think about the unfailing goodness of the Lord and for all the things that He has done for us, for all of the wrongs that He has forgiven us, for all of the undeserved kindness and continual mercy that He has shown us and for all of the unconditional love that He gives us still, how can we not shout about His glory and sing praises about His great mercy and love.
Psalm 146:1-2 declares, “Shout praises to the Lord! With all that I am, I will shout his praises. I will sing and praise the Lord God as long as I live.”
He has lifted us up from the muck and the mire that we clung to so tightly and has clothed us in the whitest of linens. He has placed rings on our fingers and oil upon our heads. How great is His mercy and how wonderful are His ways.
“Celebrate and sing! Play your harps for the Lord our God. He fills the sky with clouds and sends rain to the earth, so that the hills will be green with grass. He provides food for cattle and for the young ravens when they cry out. The Lord doesn’t care about the strength of horses or powerful armies. The Lord is pleased only with those who worship him and trust his love.” (Psalm 147:7-11)
Let us give all praise and glory to God today. Find any reason, every reason, to praise the name of the Lord, for His name is great and worthy of all our praise!
The more we realize the extent of our debt that He willingly paid, the more His glory abounds. The more we realize the times when He forgave us and lifted us up from where we were, only to place us on the path where He knew we should be, how can we not shout our praises to the glory of His name. He is great and He is glorious, and He is OUR GOD! Hallelujah, THANK YOU JESUS!
